Synopsis

IT’S A WONDERFUL ZOMBIE 3-D is a hellacious horror-comedy that takes place over Christmas in the peaceful, upscale town of Bedford, Nova Scotia. When college students BILEY, HARRY, and ZUZU return home for Xmas break, they soon discover that their affluent parents have developed new ‘tastes’. Instead of keeping up with “the Joneses”, they’re now eating them. And the kids are next. Irreverent madness ensues, roasting Christmas conventions over an open fire, as preppy Bedford becomes a bloody battleground and the last stand of rock and roll. With the help of a mysterious “biker-chick” named MARY, Bailey must fight to find the lost soul of Christmas — and his own — in the blundering cannibalistic beast that the holiday has become.

A rip-roaring satire of the classic holiday film, ‘It’s A Wonderful Life’, this film is anticipated to be one of Canada’s first indigenous 3-D feature films, and has received development support from Telefilm Canada, Creative Post and Film Nova Scotia.
